Overview

The Services Volume Index continued to record positive growth of 4.8 per cent, reaching 163.4 points in the third quarter of 2025. This performance was driven by growth in the Wholesale & retail trade, Food & beverage and Accommodation segment (5.5%), followed by Information & communication and Transportation & storage segment (5.4%), Business services and Finance segment (2.2%), and Other services segment (8.9%).

For quarter-on-quarter comparison, volume index of Services increased by 2.2 per cent in the third quarter of 2025. This growth was supported by increases in the Wholesale & retail trade, Food & beverage and Accommodation segment (2.4%), the Business services & Finance (2.3%) the Information & communication and Transportation & storage segment (1.5%), and the Other services (3.6%).

Meanwhile, the seasonally adjusted volume index for this sector recorded an increase of 5.8 per cent to reach 164.5 points in the third quarter of 2025.
