???? The United Nations on Conference, Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and The Brazilian Cooperation Agency (BCA)

DOSM Representative:

???? Take home points:

The UN Statistical Commission had requested UNCTAD and the OECD serve as co-custodians of SDG indicator 17.3.1, which focused on mobilizing additional financial resources for developing countries from various sources. Following this request, the development of an initial framework to measure South-South cooperation was warmly welcomed.
The groundwork for measuring South-South cooperation under SDG indicator 17.3.1 was established during this Expert Meeting. Throughout the event, countries shared their experiences and the Conceptual Framework to measure South-South cooperation underwent rigorous testing and validation.
