Discussion with UNICEF Malaysia regarding the Cost of Raising Children with Disabilities Study (East Malaysia)

A preliminary conversation regarding the proposal aimed at the Cost of Raising Children with Disabilities Study in East Malaysia was held at DOSM by UNICEF representatives, led by Chief Social Policy, Ms. Juanita Vasquez Escallon. UNICEF shared with DOSM the study on Estimating the Cost of Raising Children with Disabilities and updated DOSM on the Child Poverty Study. Besides that, the discussion also revisits the partnership and collaboration between DOSM and UNICEF.
