Take home points: The purpose of the 2nd Session Workshop on ASEAN Mirror Trade Analysis is to discuss the methodology to conduct mirror analysis including the compilation method applied to identify data discrepancies, the IMTS compilations applied in each country, implementation of mirror analysis using Power BI by ASEANstats as well as to discuss the findings and possible solutions of the discrepancies among participating countries.
The main objectives of the 9th Meeting WGIMTS are to discuss the progress in the harmonisation of ASEAN Member States’ IMTS data, the enhancement of IMTS data quality with regard to the implementation of ASEAN Harmonised Tariff Nomenclature (AHTN) 2022, the updates on the data transmission protocol (DTP) and ASEANstats IMTS Metadata; the production of IMTS Data Quality Synthesis Report 2022; the effectiveness of IMTS data sharing and dissemination particularly the Quantity and Re-Export data submission and Mode of Transport dissemination; the updates on the implementation of ASEAN-Help-ASEAN Framework (AHAF), and the updates on the Trade Task Team.
