Key Discussions:
The development of the ACSS Action Plan 2026-2030 and its KPIs Enhanced data availability via APIs and dissemination of ASEAN GDP by expenditure. Progress on pilot studies, including Small Area Estimation (SAE), and website enhancements by ASEANstats. Strengthened capacity building through the ASEAN-Help-ASEAN Framework and the ASEAN Statistics Virtual Academy.
Malaysia’s Key Contributions
Co-led the development of the ACSS Action Plan 2026-2030 and its KPIs with the Philippines Provided updates as Chair of the Working Group on System of National Accounts (WGSNA), leading for two consecutive terms (2021-2024). Shared DOSM’s expertise in Data Governance, Data Stewardship, and Data Integration. Highlighted Malaysia’s readiness to lead and host ACSS15 during its ASEAN-Malaysia Chairmanship in 2025.
