This course aimed to understand the new statistical standard adopted by the 21st ICLS in 2023, including key international concepts, terminology, guiding principles and global trends related to informality. This understanding encompassed operational definitions of the informal sector and informal employment, effective data collection mechanisms, frameworks for analysis, as well as essential indicators of persons, jobs and work activities.
