DOSM Representatives:
a. Fariza Kambut, E52, BPPAS
b. Mahdir Bahar, E48(M), KPKM

Take home-points:
The System of Environmental Economic Accounting (SEEA) Ecosystem Accounting (EA) is one of the complimentary international statistical standards that constitute an integrated and comprehensive statistical framework for organising data about habitats and landscapes, measuring the ecosystem services, tracking changes in ecosystem assets, and linking this information to economic and other human activity.
The workshop helps participants acquire knowledge and skills to deepen their understanding of the SEEA EA; share experiences with the best practises of other countries; and support countries to set up a strategy and work plan for the implementation and further development of SEEA EA accounts in support of biodiversity policies.
Stay tuned for the next programmes!
