INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMME [STUDY VISIT]

We are thrilled to welcome the delegates from Uzbekistan for the Agriculture Census 2024 study visit! This collaboration marks a significant milestone following the MoU between Malaysia and Uzbekistan, creating exciting opportunities to enhance our statistical practices.

A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Bakhodir Begalov, Director of the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, for the opportunity and keen interest in learning from Malaysia's experience in agricultural statistics. We greatly appreciate Mr. Ikramov Agzam Anvardjonovich and the Uzbekistan delegation's visit, and we look forward to sharing valuable insights that will support Uzbekistan in enhancing the quality and transparency of its agricultural statistics as they prepare for the 2025-2026 census.

As we gear up for the 2024 Agriculture Census, we draw valuable lessons from various countries to ensure a comprehensive methodology. Our discussions focus on collaboration, sharing best practices, and aligning our approaches for success in the upcoming census.
