8 June 2023- Benchmarking Visit to Korea Employment Information Services (KEIS)KEIS is affiliated with the Ministry of Employment and Labor which responsible for collecting, analysing, providing information related to employment, career, and job. KEIS supports the advancement of employment services and implementing the employment information system for South Korea. KEIS conducts a labor supply and demand forecast to facilitate efficient labor force allocation at the national level by predicting future labor supply and demand. Forecasting on labor supply and demand will support policy formation to the establishment of vocational training policies for the national strategy. Through labor supply and demand forecasting also KEIS can provide career and job selection information to those entering the labor market. A long-term forecast to proactively respond to the digital transformation brought about by Artificial Intelligent (AI) and robots.
