8 June 2023- Benchmarking Visit to Korea Employment Information Services (KEIS)
KEIS is affiliated with the Ministry of Employment and Labor which responsible for collecting, analysing, providing information related to employment, career, and job. KEIS supports the advancement of employment services and implementing the employment information system for South Korea. KEIS conducts a labor supply and demand forecast to facilitate efficient labor force allocation at the national level by predicting future labor supply and demand. Forecasting on labor supply and demand will support policy formation to the establishment of vocational training policies for the national strategy. Through labor supply and demand forecasting also KEIS can provide career and job selection information to those entering the labor market. A long-term forecast to proactively respond to the digital transformation brought about by Artificial Intelligent (AI) and robots.

KLI is a primary national research institution dedicated to study on employment and labour. It has consistently played a crucial role in conducting research and offering policy recommendations to improve labor market conditions and labor-management relations. KLI taking a new leap forward as a global policy research institute that takes the lead in promoting national happiness through work-life balance.
