This program is organized with the aim of enhancing the quality of official statistics through the improvement of statistical officers' capacity and quality. The program also aims to share experiences and best practices implemented in Japan regarding the execution of statistical activities, including data collection, processing, analysis, and dissemination of official statistical information. Additionally, this program contributed to the strengthening and capacity-building of human resources in the field of statistics worldwide, especially in developing countries. All participants shared an overview of statistical activities in their respective countries, such as the Population and Housing Census, Household Income and Expenditure Survey. This program involved participants from the statistical agencies of ASEAN countries, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.Stay tuned for the next programmes!
