The 13th Session of the ACSS Committee served as a venue for the exchange of experiences and discussions among the ASEAN Heads of Statistics Offices on programs and issues related to the implementation of the ACSS Strategic Plan and Multi-Year Action Plan. These discussions covered Institutional Strengthening, Strengthening ASEAN Statistics, and Narrowing Development Gaps. The 13th Session of the ACSS Committee also provided an opportunity for international organisations, ASEAN Dialogue Partner Countries, and Development Partners to share their experiences on statistical programs and activities, contributing to the strengthening of statistical cooperation. Additionally, a significant development announced during the session was the launch of the new regional hub on big data and data science for Asia and the Pacific. Malaysia has expressed its commitment to actively participate in and contribute to the success of this regional hub.
