Day-1 (31 July 2023):
The program commenced with a cordial welcome from YBhg. Dato' Sri Dr. Mohd Uzir Mahidin, Chief Statistician Malaysia, expressed his sincere hope that the Delegations would benefit immensely from the session. DOSM, in turn, furnished an all-encompassing overview of its background, governance, service deliverables, collaboration and engagement, dissemination and communication, and international commitments. Furthermore, the facilitator from the Agriculture & Environment Statistics division expounded upon the Survey and Gross Output (GO) Calculation in Agriculture, which covers the Overview of the Agriculture Sector in Malaysia and the Census & Survey of Agriculture by DOSM.
