This report contains data emanating from the Monthly Survey of Distributive Trade, Malaysia.

The report provides data on value of sales, cost of goods sold, number of workers engaged and salaries & wages for the wholesale, retail and motor vehicle sectors.

The main objective of this survey is to collect information pertaining to growth, contribution, composition and distribution of distributive trades to assist the government in formulating policies and for development planning. The data can also be used by the private sector and individuals for specific purpose such as for economic projections and analysis.
