| The price for diesel is government controlled price as established by the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs. The prices for steel bars, cement and fabric reinforcement published in this Special Release 1 are obtained from the price collection conducted by Department of Statistics, Malaysia. Prices are reported according to 3 regions in Sabah and 3 regions in Sarawak as follows:- Sabah = Kota Kinabalu, Sandakan and Tawau The price of bitumen 80/100 penetration is based on the average ex-Kota Kinabalu for Sabah and ex-Kuching for Sarawak. All prices mentioned above are relevant for escalation purposes only and should not be used to represent actual price levels. |
