| This publication contains statistics on various sectors of the economy in Malaysia based on the data collected from the Quarterly Business Tendency Survey. The report presents qualitative indicators of the outcome for the past three months as well as the expectations for the next three and six months. An accounting concept known as "net balance" has been used in analysing the results. Detailed statistical tables are included to facilitate users in analysing the current business situation and forecasting short-term economic developments in Malaysia. Explanatory notes relating to the survey methodology, concepts, questionnaire, data collection etc. are provided to facilitate greater understanding among users. |
