The Labour Force Survey Report, Malaysia, 2012 presents the annual data on the characteristics of labour force, unemployment and the structure of employment based on the monthly survey conducted by the Department of Statistics, Malaysia.
Information obtained from this survey provides input for analysing the labour market situation, policy formulation as well as planning, implementing and monitoring programmes related to human resource development.
This report also includes information on employment and labour force at state level. It is hoped that this report meets users' need for comprehensive and upto-date labour force data.
