This report is published monthly, representing what happened to economy scenario, current and forecast in short term for the months ahead. The Coincident Index shows current economic growth for the reference month. The Leading Index provides early signal on the direction in which the economy is going. This Index represent several components of economic activity which consistently lead the Coincident Index by several months. On the other hand, the Lagging Index, measures the performance of cyclical movements by the leading and coincident indices, where it serves to confirm performance of economy for the previous six months.
All selected components for the compilation of indices fulfill the economy criteria that relates with significant economy, promptness, smoothness, that less influence by irregularity and reaches the economy cyclical trends.
